Driving Experience
Driver Education takes place on a road course race track.
You must wear a long sleeved shirt, long pants, your seat belt, and a helmet.
The helmet must carry the most recent or next-most-recent SA or M Snell Approval.
i.e. 2005 or 2000, SA or M rated
In the Philadelphia Region PCA, drivers are grouped into the following
categories:
Green beginner
students (must ride with instructor)
Blue advanced
students (must ride with instructor)
White beginner
drivers
Black advanced drivers
Red instructors
preparations
tires should be at 30psi minimum
remove wheel covers & hubcaps
check oil before every run
check tire pressures
bring extra gas, spare brake pads, etc...
